Community Decks for Contemplation

Tarot's origins are debated—playing cards appeared in Europe around the 14th century, but the 78-card structure we know today crystallized through the Rider-Waite-Smith deck (1909) and its predecessors. The tradition draws on Western esoteric thought, Kabbalah, Jungian psychology, and folk wisdom.

Unlike older traditions with centralized lineages, tarot has always been democratized—interpreted and reimagined by countless artists, mystics, and seekers. For deeper study, we recommend Benebell Wen—her work bridges traditional scholarship with accessible practice.

Here you'll find tarot decks created by our community—each offering unique perspectives and imagery for reflection.
